The Lumpkin Family Foundation accepts grant applications annually of up to $5,000 from organizations in whose mission is education enrichment. Specifically, The Foundation seeks interest from programs that build meaningful, personal relationships with students through mentoring and/or tutoring programs at the high school level in high-need areas. The focus community for 2017 is Chicago, IL.
The grant is offered by The Next Generation Education Fund of The Lumpkin Family Foundation, a group of 6th Generation family members, ages 13-26. Preference will be given to programs that are innovative, exciting, collaborative, and sustainable.
This is an open process and any organization or program providing the services above is eligible to apply. The focus community for 2017 is Chicago, IL. The focus community changes annually, so please check back early each year for an update.

- Urban Services, a branch of the YMCA of San Francisco for the Peer Tutoring Program
