Next Generation Education Fund
2011-2013
The Lumpkin Family Foundation accepts grant applications annually of up to $2,500 from organizations in the geographic areas listed below whose mission is education enrichment. Specifically, The Foundation seeks interest from programs that build meaningful, personal relationships with children through mentoring and/or tutoring programs at the elementary and middle school levels in high-need areas.
The grant is offered by The Next Generation Education Fund of The Lumpkin Family Foundation, a group of 6th Generation family members, ages 16-21. Preference will be given to programs that are innovative, exciting, collaborative, and sustainable.
Inaugural Grant Recipents:
Generations Incorporated - Boston, MA for the Reading Coaches Program at the Martin Luther King Elementary School
Epiphany School - Dorchester, MA for the Skills Program.

Eligibility
This is an open process and any organization or program providing the services above is eligible to apply. Fund members will also invite eligible organizations they are aware of in their communities which include:
· Boston, MA
· Philadelphia, PA
· Fairfield County, CT
· Palm Beach County, FL
Program Timetable
Applications were accepted from October 1-November 25, 2011. The application timetable and location for 2012 will be announced later in the year.
