Regional Grants Program

The first step in applying for a grant is the submission of a letter of inquiry. Click here for more information on submitting a letter of inquiry. Jane Goodall Institute, $10,000
For the Youth Leadership Initiative in Bernalillo County.

PB&J Family Services, $6,190
For their ImPACT and KidPACT support and mentoring programs. (This grant is made pending the completion of a site visit report.)

Cuidando los Ninos: $6,190
For the Family Program's Incentive Initiative.
The YMCA of Central New Mexico: $6,190 for its Fade II Reality program. (This grant is made pending the completion of a site visit report.)

San Francisco, CA

Headlands Institute/Teen Environmental Action Mentorship, $6,500
To support their environmental education and leadership development for high school and nontraditional students. 

Girl Ventures: $4,500
For their Girlz Climb On and Rock & Dance programs for adolescent girls.

Students Rising Above, $3,285
To provide low income high school students in the Bay Area with college readiness support, paid internships, health care programs and adult mentors until they graduate from four year colleges.  

Chautauqua County, NY

Arts Council of Chautauqua County, $14,285
For the Hispanic Youth Radio Program that develops radio programs for the Hispanic population and builds job skills in Hispanic  youth.. 

Chicago, IL  (Oak Park and Pilsen neighborhoods)

Gads Hill Center, $4,285
For their Club Learn educational enrichment program which focuses on homework and life skills and is targeted at low-income children ages six to12 in Pilsen. 

21st Century Urban Schools,$10,000
To purchase literacy materials and equipment to enhance their Early Childhood Interactive Literacy curriculum, which trains parents for active involvement in their child’s academic development.

Fairport Area, CT

Arts for Healing, $5,900
For their Summary Art Therapy group program which will work with autistic children ages five to 15.

Horizons Student Enrichment Program at New Canaan Country School, $3,385
To add 12 students in grades three to eight to the instrumental music lessons program focusing on flute and clarinet. 

The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, $5,000
To support their Long Island Sound Biodiversity Project which will provide 100 fourth grade students with six weeks of hands-on science experience. 

Philadelphia, PA

ASAP/After School Activities Partnership, $4,285
To expand their program to meet increased demand for the Saturday chess tournaments.

Clay Studio, $10,000
To support their Claymobile community outreach project which will bring arts, music and playwriting to an economically disadvantaged North Philadelphia community.
