The Program Officer will provide leadership to existing programs in East Central Illinois, and in developing new programs and activities. Existing programs are focused on climate health; conservation and soil health; community mental health; and rural development. Recently, the Foundation committed to making deeper investments in programs and initiatives that center racial equity and social justice. The Program Officer will lead that work. Where helpful, they will work through collaborations of funders, grantees, and communities to leverage the value of our investments in grantee and community capacity-building. The Program Officer will also manage internal capacity building (i.e. staff and trustee learning) and contribute to the Foundation's strategic direction.
